Post-Apocalyptic Nomadic Warriors by Benjamin Wallace

This is an attempt to take the post-apocalyptic world as envisioned in Mad Max and infuse it with a bit of Douglas Adam's absurdity. It mostly works. I enjoyed the story, even if the ending was telegraphed from about the middle of the book. It's part I of a trilogy which I got for the Kindle dirt cheap, which is why I took a flier on an author I didn't know. If I had paid $23.99 for a hardcover or even $12.99 for an e-book here I'd probably be disappointed, but I think I paid $9.99 for the trilogy. At $3.33 for this book I feel ok with what I got for money, and I'll likely continue on and read book two eventually.
