Willie Nile - Streets of New York

If there was any justice in the music world, Willie Nile would be have been rich and famous a long time ago. He combines a Dylanesque voice with the song writing talents of Springsteen or Lou Reed, and an ear for melody that I think exceeds any of the above. It's simply a brilliant album that ranges from piano ballads to folk to punky rockers, with amazing songwriting at every turn.
