Like everybody else, the pandemic is "top of mind" 24 x 7 for me. I'm writing to help myself not internalize all of it. You can find other posts in the series at https://odonnellweb.com/pelican/tag/coronavirus.html
I gave you 1350 words yesterday. So you know what means for today. This will probably be more like a Tweet than a blog post.
I was crazy busy at work all day - barely had time for a 15-minute lunch break - certainly didn’t have time to ponder a pandemic. Actually I much prefer it this way. More days like this please.
Is anybody else feeling a little social isolation socialization fatigue? This may need to be a no Zoom weekend. I’ve been trying so hard to not veg out in front of the TV at night that I’m starting to miss not doing anything. Surviving this pandemic is a marathon, not a sprint. This isn’t going to be over in 2 weeks or 2 months. Politicians telling you otherwise are lying to you.
I listened to a one-hour interview with Ken Grossman, founder of Sierra Nevada Brewing, on my walk today. It’s the “How I Built This” podcast from NPR if you are interested. I spent the evening listening to Butch Walker while not making much progress on a jigsaw puzzle.
And that’s it- that is all I have today. 1038 characters - so 4 Tweets.
