The Jealous Kind

The third album from Chris Knight is full of down on their luck characters who have a long way to go before they see the light of day. It's classic country songwriting, done with a Steve Earle, or Bruce from the "Nebraska" days kind of vibe. What Chris does better than most alt-country / roots artists is pull you into the songs with his voice to a place where you really feel the emotion in the song.

Good stuff, and a worthy pickup.
