The Obligatory 9-11 Post

If you are waiting for my deep and overwrought 9-11 post you will be waiting for a long time. There is a difference between remembering and obsessing. I remember, but I’m not obsessing over it.

A 9-11 memorial that requires passing through a metal detector to enter, and a gift shop to exit, completely misses the point.

How many tens (hundreds?) of thousands of innocent people have died worldwide (including 7000ish US military personnel) since 9-11 in wars prosecuted to help make sure we “Never Forget?”

    I just found your blog via the Homeschool High School site and saw this post. This is EXACTLY how I felt on 9-11 but didn’t know quite how to say without sounding like a jerk or worse, unpatriotic. Thank you for having the courage to say it here.
