The August hail from Chicago, although they are currently hanging out in Nashville. They mashup a sexy take on Chicago folk and blues with some country twang to produce tunes that I really dig. This one is off their new album, Dear Chicago, Love Nashville, which is available from all the usual online retailers.
Featued previously here, but definitely good enough to revisit, their awesome cover of Bobby McGee.
Now if they would just come play the Richmond / DC area.
