Going out in style

Today was bittersweet as it was probably Breck’s last time fencing in the Youth division. He went out in style, winning The Battle of Chancellorsville by beating his nemesis in the final bout. (Breck was 0 for 2008 against this kid, but has beat him 3 in a row now in 2009).

Even better, first prize was a replica CSA calvary saber.

    I was staring at the sabre before I scrolled down to the explanation, thinking wow, those competition sabres are a lot bigger and heavier (and cooler of course) than I remember! ;-)
