If you are willing to sacrifice your dignity and be made a fool of on national TV, while at the same time letting the media mock the entire homeschool movement, ABC would like to talk to you.
Just make sure you tell them Victoria sent you. I want no part of it.

FOX’s show “trading spouses” has already featured at least 2 homeschooling families that I know of. One of them lives/travels full-time in an RV (no, it’s not my family). I know of others that have been approached too, but the networks only want people who are willing to be controvesial; they don’t want people who actually get along with others.
If the UK version is anything to go by, I think you are right, Chris, to give this a very, very big miss!
The producers tried canvassing through HE email lists and at HE camps, and wisely not one family agreed to do it. In the end the programme featured an American HS fundamentalist family who beat the kids with a leather strap. (Not the best publicity for HE we’ve ever experienced)…and I agree, they prefer controversial personalities, and if they don’t get them they will certainly edit them that way.
